CH BELQUESTS JUNK IN THE TRUNK

We are honored to have American Show Champion Belquest's Junk In The Trunk, call name "Tru", here at Woodland Hills Retrievers.  Tru has had an amazing show career and quickly earned his Show Champion Title at such an early age of 19 months old.  His previous owner, Vicky Creamer said to me, "Tru's quest for his show champion title was quite an exciting, but quick ride". Tru is the son of BISS AM CH Borador's By George, "Gordy", CGC, who was the Number One ranked show lab in the USA in the year 2001, Multiple Group Winner and Specialty BOB winner.  In 2007 and 2008, Gordy was the  AKC's  Top Champion Producing Stud Dog. He sired the #1 Show Lab in 2005 and in 2008.  BIS AM CH Belquest Lovely Lady Lumps WC  call name, "Fergie", was the 2008 #1 Labrador Retriever in the USA.  Fergie was a lttermate sister of Tru.  In July 2012, I receinved an email from a dear friend letting me know that that her Gordy son had just become the 86th Gordy AKC Show Champion offspring.   No doubt this list of Gordy's show champions will continue to grow.

Tru had a short but spectacular show record becoming Show Champion at only 19 months of age.  Tru's mother is a daughter of the great Am. Ch. Dickendall Davaron Gable.  What we also like about Tru is that his grandfather and great grandfathers are Show Champions/Performance Title Holders. They are major producers of show champions that also have the AKC Hunt Test titles.

As you can tell by his picture, Tru is a stunningly handsome almost white lab.  He has a awesome head and build.  In fact, Tru is massively wide from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. More importantly, Tru has a very people loving personality, typical of the Labrador Breed. Tru is very representational of his sire Gordy.  We expect Tru to pass on his "type", body composition, on to his pups.  They should be gorgeous and have great familiy personalities!

As far as a retriever, Tru is true to the Labrador Retiever Breed.  He has what Labs are noted for possessing a great desire to work and retrieve. Tru had his first upland game hunt during the Christmas Hoilday Season in 2008 on the deeply snow covered hills in Nephi, Utah where he energetically retrieved chukkars for me.  We look for great things from Tru.
