Bubba, a very handsome, shiny black male pup, was born on Dec. 4th, 2025 from our Kiki x Po’ele litter. Bubba best asset is his wonderful personality. He is calm, quiet, and loves participating on short walks, playing with us and with the other dogs. He likes observing, and is a quick- learner. He is doing very well with the “Come” command when verbally called, or when whistled to. We’ve also started Bubba on “retrieving”. He is enthused runnining to “fetch”, tennis balls, cylindrical 2″ bumpers, and rubber bird bumpers. He learned to “Hold” these objects in his mouth until its taken by the person he is training with. You will be able to see him in retrieving parctice on our “Woodland Hills Retrievers” Facebook in a coulpe of days. Still Photos will also be included here in a couple of day. Sire: “Po’ele” is a handsome boy with a shiny black coated, and a calm disposition. Po’ele, a son of our Villa’s Haw’n Beach Boy Kimo, was also a calm, level headed dog who has sired many gorgeous pups for us. Kimo is sired by the multi-titled CH Deep Run Casablanca CD, RA, MH, SHU. Po’ele’s mother, Villa’s Hapa Haole From Botar, was a stunning built yellow female, who was sired by CH Shermi Front Runner SH, and CH Botar’s Southern Charm. As I share this info especially with this pedigree, so many great memories return, of which we are so proud and thankful of having so many great, talented, and amazing dogs in the past.

Lady has been started on the “Come, Heal, and Sit” commands. She also is practicing Leash training while on walks. She also loves retrieving balls and other objects. 1. Kimo, DOB: 7/26/16 – My has time flown. It’s so sad that our Kimo is retiring from our breeding program. As you can see from his picture, Kimo is such a gorgeous dog with stunning English features and a light cream colored coat. He loves people, gets along with other dogs and has a super personality. Kimo was professionally trained and has Junior Hunter points. Beside game birds and water fowl, Kimo loves to retrieves balls, sticks, and other objects. He will make an awesome companion for any family especially one that likes to hunt. He loves to please and participate in family activity. One of our past family friends who had adopted one of our Lab Retrievers, created a game that their dog loved playing “Hit, Fetch and Return the Baseballs”. What a creative and fun way to get dog, Dad, teenage sons and daughters out of the house to have fun and get some exercise and practice. Other families have taken their dogs swimming. I bet you could also think of other creative ways to enjoy your dogs, especially one that loves retrieving or going on walks or jogs.

2. “Maya” (littermate sister of Stitch), has been retired from our breeding program, my how time quickly passes when you’re having fun. Maya and Stitch has been the backbone of our chocolates. Maya is a beautiful chocolate daughter of GCH, CH Simerdowns Spin Doctor and our own lovely Hawaiian Pride’s My Tita. Maya is gorgeous, healthy and has a lovely personality and loves to retrieve balls, sticks and other objects. She gets along with her family of dogs. She weighs approximately 65 lbs.

We retire most of our breeding females are retired at 6-7 years of age. We love them so much but can’t keep them all. We are looking for great forever homes to place them in. The average life span of a Labrador is 12-14 years of age, so they have a lot of good years remaining. Again, they are healthy, obedience trained, intelligent, loveable, and loyal retired adults from royal, successful, and proven lineages. Statistics have shown that the Labrador Retriever Breed can adapt well, into at least 4 different families, no wonder they are so widely sought after. With older Labs, you get to skip all of the early puppy mannerisms, and Just enjoy!!!
